Our First Public Meeting Despite Snow!

Many thanks to everyone who gave up their evening on a cold, wet and snowy evening to attend our Public Meeting. We’ve collected lots of really good feedback. Keep checking the website, Facebook page or our Twitter feed to learn more about the progress that we’re making delivering on this feedback.

The results of the most popular park amenities as voted for at the Public Meeting are shown in this graph.

We’re back in the park on Sunday 24th March, as we’ll have hedges, copse trees and orchard trees that will need planting. If you’d like to come and join in, meet us all and see the work that we do, we’ll meet by the tennis courts at 12:30. We recommend sturdy boots, a warm coat and gloves if it’s cold.

About Us

The Friends Of Kingston Road Recreation Group, is a community group, established by local residents to help protect and improve Kingston Road Recreation Ground.

We involve everyone from the local community to come together to undertake projects to enable the park to fulfil its potential as a place to play, exercise, socialise, walk and enjoy nature. We're often seen picking litter, pruning and planting and have some exciting new initiatives planned for 2019.

Drop us a note or click to on our Events list to see the next time we're out and about.

Please do come and join us!
